"Seven" - TV ad - Spoof

On the air... Team Obama couldn't wait to nail McCain on not remembering his Seven Houses in their latest TV ad. Here McCain remembers! The new PolitiChill is where no candidate is off-limits, from conservative to liberal, from Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Rudolph Giuliani, Dennis Kucinich, Bill Richardson. We also spoof the way the media sensationalizes things, whether its CNN, Fox News, MSNBC News, and CNN Headline News, ABC News, CBS NEWS, NBC News, as well as the hilarious personalities of Bill O'Reilly (OReilly), Brian Williams, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Tim Russert, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Kieth Olbermann, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingram, Joe Scarborough of Morning Joe, you name it. Let the circus that is election 2008 begin. Republican or Democrat, Independent or Libertarian, Politi-Chill is the lighter side of politics. Look out Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Saturday Night Live, and other comedians, it's time to get your Political Chill on. Politichill is satirical comedy. All characters are fictitious, except where public figures are satirized. Any resemblance of characters to actual people is accidental and coincidental. http://www.politichill.com

Roosevelt

"It's hard to remember now, but before Social Security, nearly half of America's seniors lived in poverty. After a lifetime of playing by the rules and working hard, there was no guarantee of a secure retirement. "My grandfather, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and a majority of Americans thought that was wrong. "They believed that lifting our seniors out of poverty is a reflection of our nation's core values. "That's why my grandfather signed the Social Security act seventy three years ago today. One of the great successes of the 20th Century, today Social Security lifts nearly 13 million seniors and 1.3 million children out of poverty. "Back in 1935, a small minority did not share those values. They opposed the creation of Social Security because they believed that government should not have a role in ensuring a retirement with dignity or helping seniors stay out of poverty. They said, "You're on your own". "John McCain agrees with that old way of thinking. Like President Bush, he wants to privatize our Social Security, turning it into a gamble with our futures, and making 8.6 million American seniors vulnerable to poverty. John McCain has even said Social Security is "a disgrace". "I couldn't disagree more. "Our Social Security isn't a disgrace; it's a compact, a trust between generations of Americans. It's a reflection of our values. "On the 70th anniversary of Social Security, Americans stood together and said no to George Bush's attempt to privatize Social Security. "On this anniversary, let's make sure John McCain hears the same message. Tell John McCain to keep his hands off of our Social Security."

Prepared

"There's a bear in the woods..." 24 years after Ronald Reagan's famous campaign ad touting his policy toward the Soviet Union of peace through strength and preparedeness, and 19 years after Reagan's policies won the Cold War, the Russian Bear is emerging from hibernation, as shown by its invasion this week of the sovreign country of Georgia. The Bear is Back. "Russian aggression against Georgia is both a matter of urgent moral and strategic importance to the United States of America." - John McCain The TN GOP Press Release: John McCain: Prepared to Lead in Dangerous Times Tennessee Republican Party Updates Reagan's Classic 1984 Campaign Ad NASHVILLE -- With Russia's invasion of the small country of Georgia topping the international news, the Tennessee Republican party today has released a new web ad promoting John McCain as the only presidential candidate who is prepared to lead America in these dangerous times. "John McCain has the experience in the military and in international politics that makes him, hands down, the best choice to lead America in the dangerous times we find ourselves living in," said Robin Smith, Chairman of the Tennessee Republican Party. "Now is not the time for an untested, inexperienced president -- serious times demand a serious leader, not celebrity of few significant accomplishments and limited political experience who will need on-the-job training." The web ad, titled Prepared, begins with two short clips from President Ronald Reagan's famous 1984 campaign ad Bear in the Woods, which highlighted Reagan's policy of peace through strength and preparedness. Twenty-four years after that ad, now considered a classic in political advertising, and 19 years after Reagan's policies of peace through strength and preparedness helped America win the Cold War with the Russian empire, the Russian Bear is once again emerging from hibernation, as shown by its invasion of Georgia. The new web ad, Prepared, includes a quote from john McCain, who said in response to the invasion, "Russian aggression against Georgia is both a matter of urgent moral and strategic importance to the United States of America." McCain has traveled to the country of Georgia several times and knows its democratically-elected pro-American leaders well. He also knows -- up close and personal -- what it means to live under communist tyranny. The ad ends saying: "John McCain: Prepared to Lead in Dangerous Times." www.tngop.org -30-

Shadegg for Senate???

www.ShadeggforSenate.com Did you ever have a job you just couldn't stand? You drag yourself out of bed, down a double espresso just to make it through another pointless meeting and then work all day on what seems to be meaningless drudgery. Rep. John Shadegg clearly feels the same way. He thinks "Congress can be so boring..." and told reporters that he's more than ready to move on to the Senate. He even quit his job... but changed his mind and caved in to sweet talk from special interests. It's no wonder Big Oil wants Shadegg in office - he's one of their best friends. Arizonans deserve a Representative who actually wants to fight for our families. Since John Shadegg doesn't, we're helping him with his job search.

We Did It!

Campaign Site http://kucinich.us Last week, Congressman Dennis Kucinich delivered a petition bearing more than 100,000 names to the Speaker of the House urging that impeachment proceedings begin into the conduct of President Bush. In a special video message (click here), Dennis is asking for your help to deliver an even more powerful message to Congress when it reconvenes in September. With new disclosures that the Administration tried to "cook the books at the CIA" by creating a phony, forged link between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, "We cannot step back and let this President escape accountability." If you have already signed the impeachment petition at www.kucinich.us, thank you. If you haven't, please do. And, in the next few weeks, please ask just one more person to sign so we can let the members of Congress hear our collective demand that they meet their obligation to uphold the Constitution.
